Mike's Place

Visited the Lonsdale market last week, lots of changes to observe. The street itself is vibrant with lots of restaurants to choose from. Continue down to the market and experience the many changes there. Where once stood a conglomeration of shipyards, there now stands a place to meet and relax. A people place to visit for the day The fabrication sheds have been modernized for events and people's recreation. Relax with a walk down the pier, or not, sit back and people watch.  

Good friends of mine are heading back to Nova Scotia to live. Sad news all around as they were truly good people. Will miss them greatly. BonVoyage to you both, wishing you every happiness in your new adventure.  

 Always a pleasure to visit at any time of day. One of my favorite places to go.

 Went to this restaurant in White Rock and sampled the best Clam Chowder I've ever tasted. The restaurant was called the Ocean Beach and I washed the chowder down with a glass of amber ale. Mmmm good....
